Great wine comes from the force of nature and the depth of time. That conviction shapes Dreissigacker, from the vineyard to maturation in the cellar.
For more than 20 years Jochen Dreissigacker, together with his family and his team, has pursued one goal: wines that express their origin precisely. The particular sites of Bechtheim and Westhofen are the foundation of these wines' independent character. The quality of every wine begins in the vineyard, in the soils, the vines and the specific qualities of each individual parcel.
Close to 1,000 hours of manual work go into one hectare of vines every year, with precision, attention and the aim of giving every vine the best possible conditions to develop.
In the cellar, time takes over. Every wine is given the space it needs to mature. Patience and consistency preserve and draw out what began in the vineyard: the individuality of each site and the unmistakable expression of its origin.
The result is wines of clarity and depth, unmistakable in their origin.
